Maranatha is a mission-minded church that is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission of our Lord and Savior. Jesus commands us in Matthew 28:19-20 to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." We are dedicated to winning souls for Christ by spreading the Gospel within our local community, across the country, and throughout the world.
Maranatha’s global mission outreach initiatives include our child and pastor sponsorship programs in Uganda, East Africa. The child sponsorship program provides an avenue for our generous donors to support students financially to receive a primary, secondary, or post-secondary education at our very own Maranatha Christian Academy and other affiliated schools located throughout Uganda. The pastoral sponsorship program assists pastors financially, so they are able to support their families and themselves as they share the Gospel throughout the country.
Local mission outreach opportunities include the Nursing Home Ministries, Pregnancy Care Ministry, Detention (jail) Ministry, Prison Letter Writing Ministry, and Haven for Hope (homeless) Ministry.
